Dear Grovers:

Now more than ever, we all have a role to play in creating a healthy community for us and future generations.  The good news is there are actions everyone can take that will make a difference.  Even better, most of these actions are easy, will save you money, and can improve your health and comfort.

The Cottage Grove Sustainability and Resiliency Challenge makes it easy and fun to learn the actions you can take and provides helpful tips and resources for actions that will help improve the future health of our community.  You select the actions specific to your journey and track your progress as you make changes at home. You can collaborate with your neighbors, share ideas and resources, and even engage in a friendly competition to bring us closer together as a community.

Ultimately, the choices we make today as individuals and as a community will determine the world that our children will inherit.  Fortunately, we have the ability to create a positive legacy through both local leadership and collective action.

I hope all of you will join me in making a cleaner, safer and healthier Cottage Grove by participating in the Cottage Grove Sustainability and Resiliency Challenge.  Together we can make a difference and have fun at the same time.

Thank you,

Jeffrey Gowing
